As mentioned on Tuesday, the recent Holochain builds have shown a leap in performance by every measure. Some of those measurements are multiple times better (2x-10x) and others are step-by-step improvements. We expect performance to continue to improve as we introduce true sharding and other optimizations of Holochain. This week both dev teams are heads down working on the nuts and bolts of those new builds being integrated into: releases, tests, various layers of the Holo infrastructure, and apps--including Elemental Chat. We'll be able to share more details on those efforts next week.
