Our third milestone in three months is complete! The "HoloPort Registration Usability" release is a huge one because of what it accomplishes on the backend. This update of the Holo network involves the creation of new Holochain secure identities based on seed and key generation. The registration onto the network now supports upcoming Holo requirements for know-your-customer regulations as well as distributed validation with Holochain. This new process will soon support the registration for the entire suite of Holo apps. That means HoloFuel users, HoloPort hosts, and app publishers, will be able to link their identities between accounts, with cryptographic security. The Holo infrastructure is rooted, connected, and alive!
All HoloPort owners have been contacted via the Forum and email with links regarding what they need to do to re-register. Soon our new HoloPorts will be shipping and others will have the opportunity to register for the first time, using this same process. A shipping update was just sent to all our soon-to-be hosts.
About Holo
Holo is a distributed cloud hosting marketplace for peer-to-peer apps built on Holochain. We're helping to build a better Web.
Holo is to cloud hosting what Airbnb was to hotels—anyone can become a host by turning their computer into a source of revenue, getting paid in HoloFuel for hosting peer-to-peer applications to the legacy web. By hosting P2P apps, you support a web that empowers your peers and communities.
