Last week we announced the Holochain Developer Initiative aimed at creating efficient, effective, and scalable curriculum for Holochain developers to build hApps. This effort builds on the DevCamps and hackathons work of the Holochain open source community over the past several years. We have begun accepting applications for our first program, a 12 day Holochain & Rust immersive learning experience in Europe this July. This will be the first of several in person and online events, as well as an online curriculum.

On the development front, the Longitudinal hApp Test is going into its fourth week of testing and is proceeding well. We've also begun testing Chess with our pre-release community in a test network. There are a few issues that we've passed back to the community devs who built Chess, which need to be fixed before we open testing more widely. It is exciting to see the host community testing hApps built by the developer community.
